The main aim for launching âNokia Unlimitedâ scheme was keeping in mind the interests of the users. Using this, it will be possible to discover, search and obtain both global and local hits within seconds. It will also enable the users to keep in touch with the musical activities happening around the world.
The managing director of the company, D Shivakumar said the company has been continuously working for propagating high quality music throughout the masses and this is amongst one such effect. The introduction of pre- recorded music, installed music albums on phones and then Nokia unlimited are all its attempts to colonize the market.
The main collaborations with which Nokia has introduced this scheme are Sony Music Entertainment and EMI Music and Nokia's local partnership with Indian Music Industry (a consortium of more than 150 music companies), Hungama and SIMCA (South Indian Music Companies Association).
