We all know Nokia is going to unveil a #-Link-Snipped-# this month, along with that the company is also expected to launch their next Windows Phone based smartphone, the Lumia 610. The new phone is going to be priced cheaper than the Lumia 710 and Lumia 800.

The competitively priced phone seems to be carrying the #-Link-Snipped-# release of Windows Phone 7 OS, which is yet to be announced by Microsoft and expect the announcement at MWC 2012 too. The Tango release is suited for phones with lower resolutions and with less processing speeds. The Lumia 610 is definitely going to be a tough competitor for low budget Android phones like HTC Wildfire S.

The phone is likely to be a Pay As You Go (PAYG) device which makes it a reason for the phone being available at lower price. But officially there has been no announcement from Nokia about the price tag at which the handset would be offered.

The release of the phone may be a strategy on part of Nokia to set a user base with cheap Windows based phones and then bringing out higher end phones to lure users away from Android and iOS. But that is definitely going to be a long term strategy as it would require a good amount of hard work from both Nokia and Microsoft partnership to make a hole in the user base of already dominating iOS and Android users.
