Nokia 701 - The Bright Screen Smartphone With Symbian Belle

The Brightness of her cheek would shame those stars as daylight doth a lamp

- William Shakespeare

The Brightness of her screen would shame the sunlight as no other phone!

- Me

Announced, but not launched! Nokia is teasing all the Symbian-lovers since very, very long, about a new breed of Symbian! The Symbian’s new avatar, the Symbian Belle, will be housed in three mighty machines, the brightest of which I am going to talk about! Presenting the brightest screen in its class, the new Nokia 701!

Its bright, not just the screen (the screen is the brightest in its class) but everything in it! It’s a 3G (HSDPA/HSUPA), with a 1GHz processor and dedicated graphics (a complement to that bright screen), 512MB RAM (That’s too much for a Symbian OS, isn’t it?) with 8GB internal memory, expandable to 32GB, and great battery life!

Looks like C7’s design is loved by the Nokia design wing! Just look at that pic, that simple, clean but magnificent shape is all you need in a conference, where you will stand apart with that classic look! The bright screen, the 3.5 inch ClearBlack TFT Capacitive Touchscreen with a resolution of 360x640 gives 160 degree display with 1,000nit brightness! This really cool piece of hardware art has allowed incorporating the accelerometer, proximity sensor, A-GPS, NFC, and even a TV out! Just think how cool it will be, click high quality pictures with the 8MP camera and view the beauty you captured in your widescreen T.V.! NFC is a nice addition, and its addition is justified in this phone, already having a lot of other functions. Just as justified as the price, This phone is predicted to bang into the Indian markets at a rate falling somewhere between Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 20,000.

Lets take a quick peek at those various excitements the phone has to offer, at that price! I bet the Symbian-lovers will really love these additions in the new smartphone of their kind!
