Government told the Supreme Court that it decided to De-recognize 44 Deemed Universities in the country on charges that they were being run as an organizations, owned or controlled by one family, rather than on academic considerations.
The task force has recommended that the 44 deemed universities which are to be de-recognized “should revert status quo ante as an affiliated college of the state university of jurisdiction so that students would be able to complete their ongoing courses and obtain degree from the affiliating university.

Do you think that the government's decision is right?

    Why do you think so?

The government is right in this.

The universities are being banned because either they charged more fees than recommended or had more students intake then they filled the criteria.
They should have respected the guidelines.
And moreover the present batch won't be facing any problems because of this.
So more or less it is a step worth applauding to me.
as it will be a example for others to observe and follow the rules or face problems.

But then they would have got that status by showing their structure and their basic framework rite?
Do you mean that they don't follow their basic rules?

If i have facilities for 30 students and intake 60 students.
What quality education i will be providing them
    and 100+ colleges were reviewed
out of that 44 are being banned
it's not that government is doing something haphazardly

    I do agree with it.
I am not blaming the Government.,what i am trying to emphasize here is that there will be a basic set of rules that there should so much intake of students by the central government.
Is it that these universities are not following that?

If i get a driving license doesn't mean i can (say for example) drink and drive.
If you break the rule..get punished for it.

    Yes.
These universities didn't follow students intake criteria in some cases..while in other cases they have raised their fees disappropriately then recommended fee structure.
