Nintendo Wii U In Two Configurations Will Enter Japan On December 8

The Nintendo Wii U shall come out in two different configurations in Japan on December 8th, declared Nintendo President Satoru Iwata this morning via video stream. The pricing and release dates for rest of the world shall be announced in a presentation in New York city later today. The two configurations- a basic set in white and a premium set in back were revealed, with the latter enjoying more storage of 32 GB than the 8GB of the former. Priced at ~$405, the Premium set comprises of the console, Gamepad, a charging stand, a play stand, plus a stand for Wii U itself.

A little more light on the tech specs show Wii U adding 1GB of its main memory to existing 1GB for running games. New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land shall be released along with the console. More details shall follow later today
