Nikon 1 V3 Camera Features World's Fastest Continuous Shooting Rate With AF Tracking
Nikon Corporation has proudly announced the launch of their new advanced camera with Nikon 1 V3 that features interchangeable lenses. Along with that, the company has also released a new normal zoom lens - NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM, which is compatible with the CX format and covers the 10-30mm range of focal lengths. The speciality of this lens is that, according to Nikon's research, it is the world's lightest lens equipped with a power-drive zoom function to utilize an electrically controlled lens cover. What attracts our attention though is Nikon 1 V3's feel is similar to a DSLR camera and it officially features the world's fastest continuous shooting rate with AF tracking up to approximately 60 fps when focus is locked.
Those familiar with DSLR's operating system, will find the one on Nikon 1 V3 quite handy. It is the first Nikon 1 camera to feature a vari-angle LCD monitor, new intuitive touch-screen control and built-in Wi-Fi capability. On the specifications list, you will find a 18.4-million pixel super high-speed AF CMOS Sensor with no low-pass filter and the new EXPEED 4A image-processing engine.
Very dense arrangement of 105 focus points with phase-detection AF and 171 focus points with contrast-detect AF ensures precise acquisition of the intended subject with dense coverage of a broad range of the frame. The Nikon 1 V3 is equipped with a main command dial on the back of the camera and a sub-command dial on the front of the camera. Moreover, users can assign frequently used settings to two function buttons on the camera and a third on the optional Grip GR-N1010. The role played by each of these function buttons can be selected from seven options: exposure compensation, Picture Control, white balance, AF-area mode, metering, ISO sensitivity, or movie-record button.

Among the dedicated accessories for the camera's system expansion, you can have a Electronic Viewfinder DF-N1000: The 0.48-inch, approximately 2359k-dot color TFT LCD viewfinder with frame coverage of approximately 100% supports diopter control and brightness adjustment. And a Grip GR-N1010: This optional grip is equipped with an angled shutter-release button and a sub-command dial that can be used to adjust settings.
