NFC Keyboards Make Typing Better On Smartphones & Tablets
Near-Field Communication technology has earned wide ranging popularity in the area of mobile technology. So the manufacturers of electronic gadgets, a Norway based company One2Touch – NFC Beyond Tap & Go has designed a silicon based keyboard that readily connects to NFC enabled smartphones for the ease of typing.

NFC based keyboard works by placing the tablet device or the smartphone on the top of it. Guess what? You need not pair your device with the keyboard. The keyboard owns a âTouch-n-Typeâ feature on-board and a pretty simple place at the center for the smartphone to rest. The pad in the center separates the left-hand typing keys from those on the right-hand.
Interestingly, the rubberized keyboard is quite miniature in size and offers properties such as fold ability and being waterproof. The keyboard carries a universal design; so there is no specific set of compatible devices for it. However, users need to install the required driver in the connecting device for NFC hardware to respond.
The company reports that Android will be the first OS to receive the driver software followed by Apple after it releases NFC compatible devices. On the other hand, a second model of keyboard is available especially for the tablets offering the same functionality. At the moment, one2TOUCH has a distribution channel in Japan but the price is yet to be disclosed by the company
