Paradip port which is one of the country's top 12 major ports was to be shut down due to cyclone "phailin " .All cargo operations ,plants,machineneries were to be shut off as a preventive measure.Paradip is located in Odisha .

Arms watchdog gets Peace Nobel:
The OPCW an obscure body recently won the Nobel peace price for its work to rid the world of chemical weapons.It is a UN backed organisation for the prohibition of chemical weapons which eliminated chemical weapons in Syria.
Malala Yousafzai who was expected to win it was disappointed after she missed it.

BJP filed complaint against Rahul:
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi's comments that the Muzaffarnagar riot-affected youths were being contacted by Pakistan's ISI, the BJP on Friday said the Congress aims at dividing the country and complained to the Election Commission.The BJP, in its official complaint, said that the Congress leader's speeches in Churu and Kherli in Rajasthan on Wednesday violated the model code of conduct as they were aimed at inciting hatred between communities.

7.3 magnitude quake hit japan:
An earthquake of magnitude 7.3 struck Saturday morning off Japan's east coast, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Japan's emergency agencies declared a tsunami warning for the region that includes the crippled Fukushima nuclear site.Japan's Meteorological Agency raised a 1-meter (3-foot) tsunami warning for a long stretch of Japan's northeastern coast, including Fukushima. It put the magnitude of the quake at 7.1.

Unemployment survey:
1. The number of jobless in Uttar Pradesh is steadily climbing, a National Survey Sample Organisation (NSSO) report has revealed.
2. The maximum number of unemployed persons in the country are in Bihar's state capital Patna (13 percent males), while Kanpur comes a close second with 8 percent as unemployed, the report stated.

Train accident in Andra:
After a hoax that a fire catch in S1 and S2 compartments of Bokara express , Passengers from other compartment stopped the train by pulling the emergency chain and when they jumped out of the train and ran,they were hit by the passenger train which came in the opposite direction on the next track.In this accident about 11 people died on the spot.😭
