New OnePlus 5 TVC Featuring Amitabh Bachchan Released Before June 22 India Launch
The OnePlus 5 launch which is scheduled to happen on June 22nd (Thursday) at 2:00 PM at the Dome @ NSCI Mumbai, has us all speculating about the features to expect from the new smartphone. Keeping all the anticipation and curiosity in mind, the folks over at OnePlus have released a few TVCs in India. The short video features many Indian celebrities like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Mr. Vir Das and Mr. Sushant Singh Rajput and all of them seem to be duly impressed with the OnePlus 5 package they have received - a stint that's only increasing our impatience by the day.
Much has been said about the OnePlus 5 smartphone and its rumoured specs. For instance, there are talks of a 5.5 inch touch screen display with 5 finger gesture support, a 2.4 GHz Octa Core CPU and a Qualcomm Adreno 540 graphics unit. A blog also mentioned that CEO Pete Lau has confirmed the presence of Qualcomm Sanpdragon 835 processor. The flagship killer has the rear dual camera set (to be located horizontally at the top left side of the device) that's expected to grab maximum eyeballs, what with the 4H UHD resolution video and a 15 megapixel primary camera.

The rumours surrounding OnePlus 5 also speak of two storage and RAM variants. A 6 GB RAM variant with 64 GB storage and a 128GB storage variant with 8GB RAM to be priced at Rs. 32,999 and at Rs. 37,999 respectively. However, actual prices will only be revealed this Thursday at the launch event. Amazon India is the official online sales partner for OnePlus and only time will tell if the company gets its price point right to sell the phone like hot cakes across India.
