CrazyEngineers
  • Co-founded by Sonny Vu, Sridhar Iyengar and John Sculley (Former Apple CEO), Misfit is the hardware company that has been steadily launching wearables and smart home devices since 2013. At the GMIC Bangalore event, the company has announced that they are launching a range of its products in India exclusively via e-commerce portal Snapdeal.com. Among the products, there's the popular Misfit Shine Fitness Tracker, MisFit Flash Fitness Tracker, Misfit Link Fitness Tracker as well as Misfit Sports Band Combo and Misfit's Pebbelled Leather & Metal Mesh Band as accessories. Let's get to the feature highlights and pricing of each of these devices.

Starting with Misfit Shine Fitness Tracker, which is priced at Rs. 5499, here's a wearable crafted in an aircraft-grade aluminium frame that comes with 50 m water resistance. The device can be used to track activity, swim as well as wearer's sleep. Users can set daily fitness goals and also get motivated to achieve those goals. It can efficiently track activities like cycling, soccer, tennis, basketball, swimming and more in addition to steps, calories and distance. Powered with a long-lasting replaceable coin cell battery, Misfit Shine does not require any charging for up to 6 months.

Misfit's Flash and Link Fitness Trackers are priced at Rs. 2499 and Rs. 1499 respectively. The Flash tracker works just like the Shine but it is made out of plastic. A user can press on Flash's face to view progress and to enable one of Flash's smart button features, like messaging friends or starting a playlist. On the other hand, Misfit's Link Fitness Tracker is an easy-to-use smart button that lets you take a selfie with your phone camera app, control your music, or advance slides in a presentation, among other functions. While the Misfit Sports Band Combo is priced at Rs. 2499, you get 3 different colors in it.

It is interesting to note that all these wearable gadgets do not need charging and are compatible with most iOS as well as on Android devices.
