Hello,

I work for Raw TV, a multi award winning television production company - we're the makers of hit show Gold Rush on Discovery. We are currently developing a new show and I am interested in talking to engineers who have experience working in remote locations across the world.

Could you clarify a bit on the requirements; especially, 'engineering who have experience working in remote locations'?

Hello,

Thank you for the welcome.

At this stage we're keen to speak to engineers/builders who have worked in very remote places across the world - whether that be Eastern Africa, the Belizean jungle or remote Alaska. Basically in places where the terrain is very inhospitable - very hot/cold/wet etc. or where logistics are very complex.

We're keen to find people who can turn their had to pretty much any engineering/construction/building project anywhere.

Hi Felicity,

I'm a Motorsports Engineer specialising in Rallye Raid support and an ex Royal Navy Helicopter Engineer. I've recently returned from North Africa where i'd been supporting the Tuareg Rallye in the dunes of the Sahara desert.

I have previous experience working in film and television and am looking to do similar projects.
