New BMW Mini Countryman 2015 Launched In India At Rs. 36.5 Lakh
The german brand has unveiled the BMW Mini Countryman for Indian market at a price of Rs. 36.5 lakh. The new Countryman has had subtle design modifications on both the exterior and interior and some innovative equipment feature additions. The luxury compact car features a top speed of 185 km/hour and an acceleration of 0-100 km/hour in just 10.9 sec. The Cooper D Countryman engine delivers max power of 112 hp @ 4,000 rpm and Max. torque/engine speed of 270 Nm @ 1,750 rpm-2,250 rpm. The car comes with 4.2 to 4.4 litres/100kms fuel consumption.
From the looks, the 2015 Mini Countryman shows of the steep grille, the distinctive headlights, the powerful shoulder line and on the rear the large tailgate stands out. Striking wheel arches and standard-fitted 17-inch alloy wheels also contribute to the visual impact of the new MINI Countryman.
On the interior, there's premium upholstery, elliptical door rings, automatic transmission and a classy looking dashboard. The backseat is now available in a 40:20:40 split and the optional panoramic glass-roof is a feature to look forward to.
For the rider's safety, the compact car brings six airbags, anti-lock braking system, brake assist, dynamic traction control and run-flat indicator.
The BMW Mini Countryman is going to be sold in India via the Mini dealerships as a CBU (Completely Built-Up) unit as well as at the four exclusive MINI outlets.
