New ASUS Padfone Infinity Launch Date Is September 17 - CEO Jerry Shen To Host The Event

ASUS or ASUSTeK Computer Inc, the Taiwanese multinational, is all geared up to launch the new version of ASUS Padfone Infinity. With the invites now sent for the press event, it has been confirmed that the official launch date for the smartphone-cum-tablet is September 7th. Happening in Taipei, the event will witness the launch of 'the new Padfone Infinity' by the hands of company's CEO Jerry Shen. The Padfone Infinity line is a hybrid family that includes an Android-based smartphone which can be docked and turned into a tablet.
We have already seen a series of leaks for the Padfone Infinity and we are sure more are to follow in the next one week -One thing is clear that the purported images of the device that surfaced online revealed that the phone is expected to come powered by Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and a new White colour option and microSD card slot could be added. Other specs will most likely remain same as A80 Padfone Infinity – 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, and 64GB of storage. Around an year back, in October 2012 - Asus had launched the Padfone 2.
