I don't think I've helped you or you've found what you are looking for. The main idea here is to first find out 'what kind' of project you'd like to do. It could be as simple as any improvement to existing thing. Check out this specific discussion for few of the ideas: #-Link-Snipped-#

Assuming that you are in third year (you did not provide this information); you could do a very simple project such as speed control of electric motor using smartphone.
