Need help in doing project using NS2

Hi guys,

We arer doing a project of developing an algorithm for Transport layer protocol.
We have done with algorithm.
Now we need to simulate the algorithm in ns2. But we are having very less knowledge about ns2. Somehow we are succeed in installing ns2.
Can somebody help me with this?Any web links or documents related to this?

P.S. : any one can guide us in Pune. Please do reply as soon as possible.
