Nagpur Calling By VED at Hotel Center Point, Nagpur on Feb 24, 2012

It is with great pleasure that Vidarbha Economic Development (VED) Council now announces its third conference- 'Nagpur Calling..." a one-day conference on IT & ITeS on 24th Feb #-Link-Snipped-#, in association with National Association of Software Companies (NASSCOM), jointly supported by Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC) & Vidarbha Association of Software Exporters (VASE).

Nagpur is Calling!
Nagpur is perhaps the only location that offers excellent connectivity and ready infrastructure when companies look at setting up their units in the shortest possible time.

To boot, Nagpur has excellent broad-band connectivity, uninterrupted power-supply, a massive talent pool from a good number of engineering graduates, good roads, no pollution, salubrious climate and all-weather airport., low crime-rate, comfortable living and topping it all, generally low cost of living, as compared to other cities, all of which are attractive incentives.

Who should attend?
The conference aims to attract various national and international entrepreneurs in the IT/ ITeS segment (particularly BPOs) to participate in the conference showcasing their success stories in Nagpur and inviting CIOs of manufacturing and infrastructure sectors to showcase their needs.

What to expect?
The conference will engage businesses interested in benefiting from IT/ITES opportunities that Nagpur offers through,
  • Highlight lectures from prominent policy makers and industry leaders
  • Opportunities & Advantages that Nagpur offers for IT & ITES operations
  • Panel discussion and showcase of IT/ITES success stories
  • Visit to MIHAN Project site
  • Networking with key local industry leaders and service providers
Expect to hear from and interact with thought leaders and more...
Prominent Speakers from the IT / ITes industry would discuss the way forward for Nagpur to develop as a good IT / ITeS destination and CIOs of non-IT companies in the central India region would discuss the business potential that this region has to offer to the IT industry.

I and my team look forward to meet you at the conference and support you in your endeavors to invest in and benefit from the rich opportunity that Nagpur offers.
