Driving greener and safer seems to be a new motive behind #-Link-Snipped-#. The automaker is soon going to demonstrate first ever beta version of its mobile app at 2012 International CES. The activity will make drivers learn tips about safe driving. This new kind of learning will be supported by MyFord app and #-Link-Snipped-#.

As we all know, Focus Electric is one of the most efficient EV present today in the market. However, many lack knowledge about contribution we make towards the environment to remain greener while driving an EV. The mobile app brings together the social networking media to the aid of common people and helps them understand the meaning of personalized driving experience through participation in Forums.
The app has combination of features like locating nearest charging station, interacting with others, learning details about your driving, getting car information, receiving alerts, planning trips among others. The car app will be particularly popular because of the forum activity that the company officials have planned. While the customers participate in the discussions on platform launched by Ford, they will receive achievement points with each contribution. For example, you can earn achievement points after you complete 20 posts, the next level will be to reach 100 posts and so on.
