Google’s cloud based service Music Beta has been officially launched for iOS users. Google made this announcement through its twitter feed. The app can be accessed via Safari browser at music.google.com.
Through the advent of Music Beta, Google enters the Music cloud market competing with Amazon’s Cloud Player and Apple’s iCloud. Though Google might have an upperhand here as Apple is still not out with its Music Program iCloud yet.

The Music Beta is also available for iOS users as a mobile web app. Until now, only Android users were made available to Google’s cloud Music service through mobile applications.
Though the Music Beta is HTML5-optimized mobile web app and not a native iOS app, it still offers all the functionalities expected from a cloud service. The music continues to play even after you have closed the Safari browser and the controls are same as the iOS music controls.
Music Beta storage allows you to save up to 20,000 songs on the cloud. Google has also introduced its Music Blog called Magnifier which complements the cloud service.
All that said, Google’s Music Beta is an invite-only service for now. So, if you don’t have an invite there is no access to Music Beta.
