Multiphase & 3-Phase Inverter

is multiphase inverter is also called as 3 phase inverter??? or it is the otherway.??..... do we choose tis multiphase inverter any industrial application???? if its used ....in wat ???

    right now we always use multi phase which in general is the common 3 phase systems

    In-fact a 3-phase inverter is called as multiphase inverter and multi-phase inverters are used in industries i suppose. 😀 3-phase are becoming popular for domestic purposes.
