Motorola ET1 Tablet Launched: Tech Specs & Features Overview

Motorola has launched ET1 tablet after testing the tablets in beta mode for few months. The tablet features 7" gorilla glass capacitive touchscreen display which operates at 1024x600 pixel resolution. The whole assembly weighs about 1.4 pounds. Under the hood, Motorola ET1 tablet runs on 1 GHz dual core CPU. There's an 8 MP camera on the rear which can capture awesome photographs and shoot videos in 720p HD mode. There's ample memory; 8GB internal and about 32 GB external memory support through Micro SD card. There's a front facing camera (specs not known, yet) which is ideal solution for video conferencing. The Motorola ET1 features Android 2.3 (no Honeycomb!).

Motorola says that the retailers can choose to include accessories along with the ET1 tablet. These accessories include magnetic strip reader, barcode reader, handstrap and holster. Unfortuntely, there's only Wi-Fi support in this tablet; which is quite disappointing as every other tablet available in the market boasts 3G capabilities. The price of the Motorola ET1 tablet is expected to be around $800; but the official price is unknown. Check out the following demo video and tell us what you think about ET1.
