Moto 360 Sport Smartwatch Now Available For Indian Fitness Fanatics
Motorola finally launched the much awaited Moto 360 Sport in India for a price tag of â¹19,999 through #-Link-Snipped-#. This smartwatch is a sports variant of the recently launched generation 2 Moto 360 smartwatch aimed towards fitness enthusiasts. The smartwatch features a very casual look as compared to its previous two generations. The strap is made out of sweat resistant durable silicone with ventilation channels for the skin to breathe and the watch is rated IP67 dust and water resistant.
The 1.37-inch display, with a resolution of 360 X 325 (which gives a 263ppi), is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The heart of the smartwatch, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (1.2 GHz CPU) along with Adreno 305 (450MHz GPU), is powered by a 300mAh Battery that lasts almost a day. The smartwatch has a 512MB RAM along with 4GB internal storage and like both generation Moto 360 smartwatches, it comes with a dock for wireless charging.

The sport version Moto 360 introduces a new barometric altimeter sensor and an onboard GPS along with the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, vibration/haptics engine and of course the optical heart rate monitor (PPG). In addition to the new sensor, the new hybrid display of the watch has an AnyLight feature which enables it to adjust the brightness of the watch according to the level of natural light. When the watch is indoors, the LCD is at work but as soon as you take it into the sun, the display is powered by reflecting natural light providing a crisp and clear screen.
The smartwatch also features dual digital microphones and weighs just 54 grams. and can be connected using Bluetooth 4.0(LE) or Wi-Fi 802.11 to most Android smartphones. However unlike the 2nd Gen. Moto 360, the sport version is not compatible with IPhone. The watch is overall designed to keep up with the most grueling workouts without compromising the comfort level. It can also sync and save songs/albums on-board making it possible to leave the phone behind and use Bluetooth headphones directly with the watch.
