Microsoft Hololens : Reality Is Now A Matrix!

Microsoft did a super-cool announcement yesterday. Called 'Hololens', the new wearable changes your reality to something that was earlier seen only in movies. It does it so well that you won't be able to tell the difference between reality and virtual reality. The technology is quite exciting and impressive! Here's the demo -

Since the device sits right in between your eyes and the world around you - it can alter the world around you in the ways you never imagined. You can actually surround yourself with any scenery you want, get any people to be around you and it just does it quite well complementing your existing environment. Imagine playing a first person shooter game where enemies are hiding right behind your doors! How cool is that?

...and it's still the version 1.0 of the technology.

Fantastic work by Microsoft. One of the most innovative product of 2015 so far. HoloLens is much better than Google Glass and Oculus Rift. For the first time Holographic lens been used. Many were criticizing microsoft decision of buying Minecraft, but after seeing the promo video, Now I can say microsoft did right thing and even they can go ahead and use minecraft's engine for virtual reality. Hope to see this technology mature quickly and get into the hans of enduser....

Promo videos are always awesome, actual thing comes to light when the product is launched and people actually use it, When I first saw Google Glass promo, it was also amazing.
And talking of amazing, here is an old video, which I found really amazing, and I really think it was an innovative concept:
