Microsoft Bizspark India Startup Challenge: Cloud & Mobile Innovations

Microsoft has launched Microsoft Bizspark Startup Challenge for Indians. The b-plan competition invites innovations & ideas in the mobile and cloud computing domain. The competition went live on March 21, 2011 and runs through May 30, 2011. Microsoft Bizspark Challenge

Microsoft along with its partners like ACCEL, CANAAN, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Helion Ventures, IDG and India Innovation Fund are offering $100,000 as total prize money to the winners in different categories. On their official website, Microsoft points out that they don't need lengthy, complicated business plans. The contestants may just submit their idea along with URL/Link to the website that showcases the idea.

Four lucky startups will be selected and offered the prize money, expert guidance from MS's partners and Microsoft itself. The contestants will be judged on the basis of Merits Of Innovation, Market Potential, Compelling Story & G-Score framework. The registration form asks for basic entries and any startup can fill up the form in just a couple of minutes.
