Micromax Canvas Tab P690 Features 8-Inch Screen With Quad Core Processor

Slated to go on sale on 7th June via leading e-commerce portals and retail stores, the all new Micromax Canvas Tab P690 has already been introduced to the market. The biggest USP of the tablet is its 4000 mAh marathon battery that is said to last ~ 4.5 hours of video playback and of course the Intel Atom Quad-Core processor coupled with Intel HD Graphics. Priced at Rs. 8999, the Canvas Tab P690 comes with an 8 inch screen that has WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels). In the similar price range, there are many efficient competitors such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Lenovo A7-30, Huawei MediaPad Honor as well as the successful Asus Fonepad 7. The Canvas Tab P690 sports really slim bezels, diamond cut edges and an unique metallic brush finish on a 7.8mm thin body, weighing 318 gms. Running on the slightly older version Android KitKat OS (Upgradable to Lollipop), the Canvas tab comes with a 5 megapixel AF Rear Camera (with HD video recording support) and a 2 megapixel FF front camera.

On the memory front, the tablet brings a meagre 1 GB RAM alongside 8 GB ROM and SD card support upto 32 GB. To stay connected, users can access 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connectivity, voice call Support as well as OTG cable support.
