    The Canvas Tab P666 is the first Micromax device to be powered by an Intel processor. The mobile manufacturing company also announced its strategic alliance with Intel in India which will be instrumental in creating a range of new mobile devices and offering high performance devices to the users. The tablet is available in black and white colors and weighs around 310 grams. The device is powered by the Intel® Atom processor that delivers a great performance and offers a dynamic range of device capabilities.

    Talking about the specs, the 8-inch tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card. Furnished with an 8-inch IPS display (resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels), the device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is pre-loaded with a host of apps such as M!Games, M!live, M!Pic, M!Security, Bookmyshow, Swift Key, and Opera Mini Browser. The 7.9 mm sleek tablet packs a 4,400 mAh battery which provides talk time of 15 hours and standby time of 325 hours. On the camera front, it is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.Connectivity options include 3G support, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and GPS. It also sports light sensors, proximity sensors, gravity sensors, motion sensors and accelerometer.

    The Intel-powered tablet is priced at Rs. 10,999 and will go on sale form November 29 in India. With a good-looking design, descent features and lot of pre-loaded apps, the tablet is worth a look.
