Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus smartphone has been launched in India as a Snapdeal-exclusive product, and could be availed in three color variants - Metallic Grey, Copper Gold, and Champagne Gold - for a decent sum of Rs 3,999/- come Friday. With the small cost price and ample applications, this device is mostly targeted at first-time smartphone buyers. It's also the first smartphone coming out of the company that runs the updated Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Canvas Spark 2 Plus has a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display and derives power off a 1.3GHz quad-core processor mounted with 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD. The 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera are decent given the cost. The device packs Indus language solution supporting over 10 regional languages. A 2000mAh battery runs the phone, connectivity options on which include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and GPRS/EDGE.

Commenting on their partnership with ecommerce store Snapdeal, he said that through their collaboration for the Spark series, the company was successfully able to expand the entry smartphone market in the country and even made quite a ripple in the estore capturing more than 11% of exclusive online market last year.
