Micromax A70 - the Android phone has surfaced! Micromax A70 builds on the popularity of A60 'Andro'. The phone looks different from A60. The phone features 8.1 cm 262K TFT, (320*480 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, a physical 'home' key at the bottom of the screen, front facing 0.3 MP camera and a rear facing 5 MP camera. The case measures 111mm x58 mm x13.5mm and the whole assembly weighs 85 gm.

Micromax A70 operates in GSM: 850/900/ 1800/1900MHz & WCDMA: 2100MHz, and has all the features you'd typically expect in any regular Android phone including MiFi (pocket internet), 3G connectivity, GPS, 32GB expandable memory support, audio/video player etc. The bluetooth v2.1 offers extra connectivity and the phone is capable of playing streaming video. The phone is powered by 1450 mAh Li-ion Battery which, the company says, gives a talk time of about 3.5-4 hours. Micromax A70 promises a standby time of about 7 days. The phone runs Android 2.2 froyo.
