Project Abstract / Summary : Alarm circuits are used to communicate the same change in the existing condition of any process or situation we should not go unnoticed. For example, the theft in a bank, building, or higher steam temperature in a boiler etc. Such a condition if goes unnoticed may cause serious hazardous incidents. The alarm can be visual or audio.
In this project fire sensor is located at points, where chances of fire are there. These sensors,when heated provide a logic pulses to the further circuit. Here signal is given to micro controllers input port through the pull up resistors. The micro controller is programmed in such a way that, it will detect the logic level change at the input and accordingly take the decision and activate the output relay which will siren loudly and the person on duty will come to know that fire has been taken place at some particular location. This location will be announced visually by the glowing LED. Simultaneously the water flashing will start on the fire and will control it.


Why did you choose to work on this project topic : Here we are developing a multi-channel fire alarm system with water flasher. Till today many fire alarms, systems have been developed, but after annunciations, if the fire brigade is not available in time, there is a major loss.
In order to avoid this loss, the fire should be controlled automatically, so some remedies have to be found out, which we are doing here. The water flasher system will itself control the fire.
