Mechanical engineer as a software tester

Im a 2014 mechanical engineering graduate from VTU...
I have an aggregate of 67%
I'm at present lost in confusion, i have no idea what to do or where to land..
I'm quite afraid of choosing mechanical engineering as a career because, i never excelled in it. My hard work was on the night before exams. I just wanted to clear my exams. The highly technical subjects in mechanical engineering like design, strength of materials, the core mathematics in it send shivers down the spine. I'm really scared ill become a bad engineer. But many people encourage me to take up design courses and it'll be fine and nothing to be worried about.
I'm more inclined to take up software engineering as a career since I'm quite comfortable with computers but i have no idea about any programming language. Should I take up Programming courses like .NET, Java etc? should I take up testing courses as I hear most of the non computer science graduates take up testing.
I have plans for MBA after few years of experience.
In a corporate world, be it any domain, any field, Id like to see myself in administrative profile. I don't want to sit in one place one cabin for years and do the same. I like to keep moving. For this, I've set myself a period of 8 years.
I spend all day in wishful thinking in which I'm a successful person, help me realize it.
