    If you mean solar photo-voltaic, yes. If just heat or light, may not be. Even with solar electric you may have to have a battery backup and storage. Else, the robot will stop when there is no sun.

    THE THING WHICH I WANT TO ASK IS THAT THERE IS HUGE AMOUNT OF SOLAR ENERGY IN SPACE.....IF WE WANT TO GO ON PLANETS CLOSEST TO SUN THEN HOW CAN WE UTILISE INFRARED RAYS OR UV RAYS FOR MAKING A ROBOT

    Noise and vibration are too low level energies. Power levels will be very low.
