LYF Flame 3: VoLTE, Decent Specs & Android Lollipop For Rs. 3999

Reliance Jio owned smartphone brand LYF has released a new smartphone that is expected to increase the penetration of 4G smartphones in India with the new Flame 3. The LYF Flame 3 like all smartphones in the LYF range supports voice and video calling over LTE networks. This means you can enjoy multi party audio and video calls without installing any third party apps. Since it’s a 4G smartphone you get access to faster internet speeds. Even though the LYF Flame 3 is an entry level smartphone, LYF has added a few garnishes like brushed metallic finish to give it a premium feel. The 4inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) resolution display has a pixel density of 254 PPI and is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass for protection. Underneath the hood we have an unspecified chipset that houses a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM. The LYF Flame 3 has an internal memory of 4GB and you do get the option of using microSD card of expanding that storage to up to 32GB.

When it comes to cameras on the LYF Flame 3 we have a decent 5MP sensor coupled with LED flash on the rear and a 2MP sensor on the front. Both the cameras are able to shoot 720p HD videos. The cameras feature face detection, smile shutter, burst mode and slow motion video. The LYF Flame 3 is powered by a 1700mAh battery that is claimed by the company to offer 4.5 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby.

The smartphone measures 125 x 64 x 10.9mm and weighs 110 grams. The LYF Flame 3 will be sold exclusively on HomeShop18 for Rs. 3,999.
