    we never get to see any 3d movies on TV, there is no point in buying it....

    If you planning to purchase LG 3d tv i would straight away say no to you, since LG is not actually good brand.
    six month back i was purchased a lcd tv of LG and i need to call thrice in a service center of LG for certain issues.
    In fact i own Samsung tv too and never face any problem in last couple of years.
    So with this you can compare which one is good or bad.

    If your budget allows then i would recommend you to go for LW5700 series..as got many additional option and range of size as well.
