'Watching' this thread πŸ˜€ ! Super cool initiative, #-Link-Snipped-#!

The first spot is going to be reserved by the United States. It'd be interesting to see if India bags a spot in the top 10.

    DON'T underestimate other countries.
Last time China begged the first spot in terms of Gold medals and they crossed USA by a margin of 15 Gold Medals. I agree, that total number of medals won by USA was highest; but the margin was only 10.

So I am expecting that this time China may give a hard time to USA; infect Great Britain would be all set to give tough time to anyone.

For India, lets keep a watch if we can get *few* medals 😁

One of the hope, Ankita Das already lost in the very first women's single match !
However, Soumyajit Ghosh 19 year old won his first match, lets see how far he can go or if he can win a medal for India.

US is chasing China thick and fast.
Both have won the 17 medals; only difference is China has more gold medals; means top rank still goes to China on Day 4.

    Don't announce it still 😁
They won their last match but on the basis of points they lost and actually became out of tournament. But they have registered a complaint for the foul play in one of the other game. Chances are their results would go in their favor and they will proceed in next round. But no Official words YET.

Here you Go, sixth day is US's name. They have won more medal's than China.

US is now ahead of China in total, equal in Gold. Still ranked number 2 as they have 2 less Silver. Lets see till what time China can maintain the lead.

See top 10 rankers in first post of the thread.

    Day 7:
    CHAMPIONS are back on top.
US is ahead of China in Gold as well as total.

India also moved up with one more medal, total 2. Can we make it a history by winning a gold as well?

    Day 14:
Medal difference is now 12, gold difference is 5.
I do not think that now China can chase USA or Britain can chase China.

One more day to go (after Saturday), Probable standing would be 1- USA, 2 - China, 3 - GBR

For medal tally on end of Day 14, see post 1 of the thread. Can Indian finish in Top 50?
