Localwire

Kishore Grandhi submitted a new project:

#-Link-Snipped-# - Share what's happening around

Most of the times we miss many things that are ongoing in our locality. So we thought why don't we have a space to share news specific to our locals. Local Wire is all about news around you.
In simple words, it's a street newspaper.

That's interesting. How do people contribute information to this app? Also, what is the incentive for people sharing the local news? Would love to read more from the developers apart from what's written on the Play Store.

Anyone can contribute information straight from the app. Click on "Share News" icon and share whatever you like.
At the moment, we don’t have an incentive model. Since, we are a start-up we have limited funds to build this model however in future we will be considering this valuable point.

Now many of us have a question why do we need to share information in app - take an example: Blood donation/Voter registration camp is being held in our Next Street but most of the times we miss these small things.

Either as an organiser or Individual we can share the news to people around this will build the audience for free of cost to the organiser and as an individual we are sharing something good which is useful to the people around.
