Liquidware Unveils Amber; The Android Development Tablet

For developers keen on tweaking tablet devices, Liquidware unveiled an intriguing tablet development framework named ‘Amber’ on Friday. An ARM Cortex OMAP3730 processor and 512 MB RAM drives this almost-flawless development kit, focusing on testing the essential functions and components of a tablet device. Equipped with a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen and an integrated version of Android Gingerbread, Liquidware quotes Amber to be “80 percent of the way to a tablet”. The gadget has 2 USB ports for easy peripheral connectivity, a 5600 mAh battery and a standard 3.5mm audio jack.
