Abstract-

Lifeguard on Road-SONAR-Long SONAR-Road Safety-Alert-


This application is that gains information with help of sensors and SONAR propagation. The SONAR devices fitted in the vehicle gains the information around the vehicle. The vehicle is installed with a software system which senses the SONAR information collects the information from indicator sensors and gets the information from the objects around and checks for the search around any danger occurrence or crash occurrence and alerts the driver with help of beep and object distance.

Overview:

Lifeguard of the road is system that is equipped in the vehicles and it works with help of the sonar. The SONAR has the maximum range of the 1000 meters at 50db.

This application consists of Visual GPS map which runs with help of SONAR wave propagation, beeper,RADAR ,SONAR and Sensors.


The Visual display which displays the cars position and it shows the object around the car in 360” degree, it displays the moving object around 700 meters.


The SONAR propagation and RADAR helps the system to check for the object around the vehicle with help of Ultrasonic sound.


The beeper is to create sound and provide signal to driver in case of emergency alert.

The Sensor is the device which checks for environment and update in the system,

For example : one sensor in this system provides a signal that if object around the vehicle try to change the direction the sensor tells the system in the vehicle it produces different form of SONAR signal that helps the other vehicle to understand that an vehicle is trying to change the direction.

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : I have chosen this project because i have lost two of my friends in small road accident , they can be escaped in seconds but their fate they had no chance or no faith or no alert for them for such accident going to occur.
They were travelling in a straight road at speed of 120 kmph in motorbike at a night time with bright lighted highway, at that time a car took a left turn from opposite to cross them at a speed of 70 kmph , they crashed straightly in the middle of the car's body, the car driver is too did't expect a bike is coming at such a speed and my friends to did't get an alert of car is going to cross them behind. If they had got a single alert or information about the arrival of the car they won't passed away now they will be alive now. So only choose this project that no one get hurt or dead on road .
If they had a chance of gaining information or alert previously they will be safe.
