LG Spectrum 4G Smartphone Launching On Jan 19 For $199
Along with a #-Link-Snipped-#, LG also announced a smartphone today. LG Spectrum is company’s latest 4G LTE smartphone for Verizon wireless.

The phone looks really great and so are its features. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 4.5 inch HD IPS display and an 8 megapixel camera. Now, there is something interesting about its display! Well, it has 4.5 inch 1280x720 pixel HD IPS touchscreen with a pixel density of 329 pixel per inch. Yes, its slightly higher than iPhone4S’s screen (326 pixel per inch), which results in very sharp text on Web and High Definition Videos. In short the screen is not just sharper, its brighter. One more interesting feature of LG spectrum is its height, it is quite long at 5.33 by 2.7 by .42 inches and weigh around 141 grams. Among other features it has 1830mAH battery, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 16 GB Pre-installed microSD card, LED flash and 1080p video recording. It also has 1.3 megapixel front camera for video chatting.
What, Ice Cream Sandwich? Well, LG took a back step on that! Spectrum would be powered by Android Gingerbread(ver 2.3), but it can be upgraded to ICS. Verizon Wireless will launch LG spectrum on 19th Jan, 2012 for $199.
