LG Quick Voice Comes To Korea - Competition For Siri & S Voice!

LG is all set to join the voice assistant race with its ‘Quick Voice’ service ready for launch in Korea. This puts the South Korean chaebol right up front with Apple’s Siri (supported by local search in the new iOS 6) and Samsung’s S Voice, and is expected to be rolled out along the Optimus family of smartphones by the end of this month, or early July. The voice assistant will enable users to perform a number of customized activities on their smartphones through voice commands along with the traditional search options for web and apps like address book, e-mail, calendar, alarm clock etc.

This move from LG to consolidate its smartphone presence in Korea is expected to be warmly welcomed by the natives; and an English supported version for the rest of us could well be in line.
