LG Google TV Launch May Happen At CES 2012 In January

Google and LG Electronics are teaming up for the first time and the search-giant and the world's 2nd largest TV manufacturing company may launch the 'LG Google TV' in coming January at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 in Las Vegas. The TV will have Google TV Software with the 2.0 update that was #-Link-Snipped-# in the last week of October. So the LG Google TV will have the newly designed interface and support for third-party applications. So, Android developers can start developing awesome apps for enhanced TV watching experience.

Google TV might just get a huge response after it's unveiled because of the number of our favorite TV shows coming up on YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion and other websites. Like Google puts it, "YouTube is better from the comfort of your couch." With support from Pandora, Slacker Radio and Napster, you can stream your favorite music collection and use the Google TV as a personal radio station.

Samsung, the LG rival, which is already making foray into Internet and 3D images for boosting it's television sales, may join the Google TV league too with it's own Bada or Tizen platform. Let's watch out for more news in this space.
