LG D1L Aims To Kill Samsung Galaxy S3. W00t!

One thing we all know for sure is that LG's not big enough to poke head into the great Appls Vs. Samsung mobile device battle. But LG's not giving up easily. After launching several Android powered smartphones at the MWC, LG's engineers are already working on the next flagship phone and if you want to believe #-Link-Snipped-# (Korean), the phone will be called 'D1L'. D1L's mission is to stop the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 (yet to be announced). If DDaily's sources are correct, then we may see the launch of D1L in May this year. The D1L will also be LG's first smartphone to ship Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. Oh yes, 'D1L' may not be the final name of the product, but it's certainly a codename of the project that LG's working on.

LG D1L's army comprises of 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4, 4.7" touchscreen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and LTE while Samsung Galaxy S3's strengths are not known yet. What we do know is that our choice of 'big screen' phones with 720p resolution is expanding this year. We at CE are already sold to the Galaxy Note, though.
