Yep. The world's thinnest 2-in-1 has arrived in the country. Lenovo, the Chinese multinational company that has gained a huge market share in India thanks to the bulk orders it gets from government agencies and MNCs, has been launching some of its biggest products in India since the beginning of this year. One such was the Lenovo A6000 smartphone that was offered via Flipkart flash sale (following the success of Asus Zenfone and Xiaomi Redmi 1S). This time around, the company has released its much talked about tablet cum laptop the 'Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro' in India. Priced at Rs. 1,14,990, the Yoga 3 Pro tablet is powered by a Intel Core M & HD Graphics 5300 processor and runs the Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. Let's take a look at the tablet's specifications in a glance.

Featuring a 13.3 inch screen that comes with a QHD (3200 x 1800 pixel) resolution, the Yoga 3 Pro tablet has a 720 pixel webcam located on the front side. On the memory front, the tablet comes with a 512 SSD. For audio, there's integrated JBL stereo speakers. The battery is said to last about 7 hours and among the connectivity options, there's Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 A/C WiFi and GIGA LAN. On the tablet's side, you will find two USB 3.0 ports, a DC-in port, a 4-in-1 card reader, a Micro-HDMI out and Audio Combo Jack port.

As you can see from the picture above, the tablet can also be used as a laptio or in stand/tent mode. The secret behind this is that Yoga 3 Pro's unique design and touchscreen display allows the screen to flip around 360 degrees. This is not only the lightest and thinnest Yoga tablet yet, but also the costliest. If you take a look at the pricing of the earlier variants in the series, there's the Yoga Tablet 2 priced at Rs. 28,999, the Tablet 2 pro at Rs. 49,490 and Any Pen at Rs. 22,499.

Another thing worth mentioning is the new hinge on the Yoga 3 Pro tablet that has been hand-crafted from 813 individual pieces of aluminum and steel. The inspiration behind this is the traditional watchband. The company believe that this metal link makes the laptop look good in any mode you use it in Laptop, Stand, Tent or Tablet.

At the official launch event, Lenovo India also displayed its series of ThinkPad tablets and desktops. The company is super enthusiastic about the new Thinkpad X1 Carbon Ultrabook and ThinkVision X24 Monitor along with the many accessories such as sleeves and cables. To see the tablet in action, we recommend that you take the official Lenovo product tour in the following video before you go to check it out in the local brick and mortar Croma outlet near you -

Specs are impressive but, Who's willing to invest 1.2L just for Thinness & 360 Degrees screen flip.
