Lenovo Vibe Z India Launch Price Is Rs. 35,999 - Does It Pack Value For Money?

Lenovo has launched its new smartphone Vibe Z in India with much aplomb at a price tag of Rs. 35,999. It was first launched Lenovo Vibe Z Features 5.5 Inch Full HD Display With Jelly Bean - Now Launched In China back in November 2013 and was received quite well. Later this year in January, the smartphone cum phablet was Lenovo Vibe Z Launched; Quad-core Processor, Gesture Controls, Jelly Bean & LTE For $549 at a price of $549. Deemed as the first smartphone from the personal technology manufacturer to have LTE capabilities, the Lenovo Vibe Z features an outer casing made out of silver or titanium. The Vibe Z is 7.9mm thick and despite a metal body it weighs just 147 grams. Sporting a large 5.5-inch Full HD resolution display, the phone is powered by a 2.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 2GB of RAM entrusted with the task of running Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean).

One of the interesting features is the gesture control that lets the user bring up the notification centre and settings menu. Users can also configure custom gestures. Your photography needs are taken care of with the Vibe Z’s 13 megapixel rear camera which has got a f1.8 aperture lens. The company’s press release claims that the lens and its enhanced imaging software can easily handle low light shots. On the front, ‘selfie’ enthusiasts will be glad to find an 84 degree wide-angle lens equipped 5 megapixel camera. The Vibe Z has got Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options and is powered by a 3000 mAh battery that can last up to 27 days on standby and offer 33 hours of talktime.

    LG G2 is also in its competition. Lenovo is poor in providing updates to their phones. Also, not many people would risk buying such a costlier Lenovo phone, when you have options like sony xperia Z1, nexus 5, lg g2, note 3.
