The A1 has an offline GPS connection. It uses the Navdroyd global map database, and behaves like any other GPS system by communicating directly with GPS satellites to determine position.

Though the Samsung Galaxy Tab outshines IdeaPad A1, you can buy two IdeaPads in cost of a single Galaxy Tab. That's right, price is the appeal!

Though the IdeaPad A1 is no breakthrough device, it certainly offers much more than the price dictates. A 16GB version of the A1 will cost $250, while the 32GB version will cost $300. The 8GB version that will sell for around $200.

Lenovo will offer the A1 in four colors: white, black, blue, and pink. The tablet's overall is around 0.5 inches

Those who missed out on the #-Link-Snipped-# frenzy, go have a look!
