LeEco All Set To Bring Its Smart TVs And VR Helmet In Indian Markets

After successfully launching the Letv Arrives In India With Letv Le 1s With Mirror-Surfaced Fingerprint Recognition & Le Maxand the Le Max smartphones, LeEco is set to introduce Smart TVs and VR devices in India. LeEco, previously known Letv, has managed to impress us all with the world’s first Snapdragon 820 device. The two phones gained immense popularity, garnering 300,000 registrants for a flash sale which is all set to happen on February 2nd on Flipkart. It seems that LeEco is now ready to spread its roots by introducing smart TVs and a 3D VR helmet.

The Chinese company launched the VR helmet in China back in September,2015. According to their official site, the 3D VR Helmet dubbed as “Super Helmet” sports a 5.5 inch, 2K resolution screen with a 70-degree field of view. SH supports 1080P @ 60fps resolution video input and is compatible with 3D and 2D image full format. However, Atul Jain, CEO of LeEco India did not disclose the price tag associated with the VR headset.

LeEco has also confirmed that they will launch a range of smart TVs in India around mid-June. Rumours are floating around that LeEco has teamed up with RelianceJio, the telecom section of Reliance Industries, that is building India’s largest 4G LTE network. Last year LeEco claimed that their flagship product, the uMax-120 is the largest 3D 4K TV available in the market. The company also has smart TV models on offer such as the X40, X43, X50, X55, X55 Pro and the X65 in the store for its customers.

Despite overwhelming response for LeEco products in India, it has still been unable to produce a large impact on the core techies. Tech freaks in India still prefer One plus and Xiaomi products, when it comes to products from China, more than the LeEco offerings. It is however expected that LeEco’s market comprising a range of innovative and 'smart' gadgets will only improve with time.
