BlackBerry has been codenaming a few phones in their next line up with names of cities like London, Libson, Nevada and Milan. It is now quiet clear from the leaked pictures that the next generation of BlackBerry phones are headed for a design change from their predecessors. While no official specifications have arrived for the Milan, rumours suggests that the new BlackBerry phones will be featuring higher pixel density displays than the 4th generation of iPhones. The BlackBerry Milan is a slider phone which will be having a full qwerty keyboard as in older models of BlackBerry line-up. Some other design features include rounded corners at the top and looped off corners at the bottom giving the feel of the PlayBook tablet. Even the navigation buttons and optical trackpad have been removed to add on a larger screen and support the various new features of BlackBerry 10 OS.

There's also speculation that the BlackBerry 10 OS supporting phones will be having the bezel swipe gesture features like PlayBook. The new line-up of phones with BlackBerry 10 OS are scheduled for launch in 2012 with phones being launched throughout the year. We can expect the BlackBerry Milan in around late March with BlackBerry London earlier that month. BlackBerry Libson and Nevada in the later part of the year. This is now expected to create a lot of buzz in 2012 after we have the phones ready for release.
