Lava Iris X1 Grand & Mini - New Sub 10,000 INR Smartphones In India
Lava Mobiles has a decent portfolio of smartphones that it regularly updates to cater the needs of users in every price domain. The latest addition to the series is with Lava Iris X1 Grand and X1 Mini smartphone priced at Rs. 7326 and Rs. 4348 respectively. The prices hint that the Lava Iris X1 Grand should compete with Asus XenFone 5 and Xiaomi Redmi 1S, the ever-popular phones in Indian market. Both smartphones feature the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system (upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop). That said, let's take a look at the specs list of both new Iris phones.
The Lava Iris X1 Grand features 5.0 inch screen with a 5 point sensitive touch screen. Its comes with an intelligent flip cover that shares battery alerts with users and features smart wake-up control & gesture recognition. Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the X1 Grand features a 2200 mAh battery and 1 GB RAM.
On the phone's rear end is a 8 MP Auto Focus Rear Camera with BSI II Sensor and Dual LED Flash, whereas the secondary camera is a 2 MP one on the Front with Operator Hosted Video Calling. The camera supports Full HD recording and 4x Digital zoom. On the connectivity front, there's GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, USB connectivity, GPS Support, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack.

There's a 5 megapixel main snapper with a PureCell Sensor and LED flash and a VGA camera on the front. The specs list speaks of 1750 mAh battery, 1.2 GHz Quad-core Processor and 512 MB RAM.
