• Lava Mobiles International has launched a new smartphone in India with LAVA 3G 402+, a revamped version of the Lava 3G 402 Android phone. The newly upgraded phone features a lot of hardware and software changes for the better. With its range of feature rich 3G smartphones Lava aims to help the existing 2G users to upgrade to 3G technology. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor along with 512MB of RAM and a 4GB ROM, the Lava 3G 402+ smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA screen and runs on the Android 4.2.2 jelly bean operating system. Let us take a look at the detailed tech specs and price for the new phone.

    On the storage front, thanks to the microSD card support the memory is expandable up to 32 GB microSD card. Deriving its power from a 1500mAh Li-ion battery, the Lava 3G 402+ offers about 2.5 hours of 3G talk time. On the rear end of the phone, there's a 3 megapixel camera and on the front side there's a VGA one. The connectivity options include - GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.     Among few of the pre-loaded apps, we find the intuitive ones like ‘Shake’ or ‘Keyboard magnifier’ make the UI easy to use, makes editing easy while increasing productivity all along. A feature called ‘Shake to Connect’ enables users to accept the incoming calls by simply shaking the handset instead of tapping the handset. Similarly, the call can be disconnected by shaking the handset. It has to be noted that this one is a Dual SIM phone and therefore Lava 3G 402+ can accommodate a WCDMA as well as a GSM card. At an official price in India tag of Rs. 6,499, the phone is available across retail as well as online stores in the country.
