The release of Flash Player 11.2 also fixes a couple of serious vulnerabilities related to code execution. Both the issues were recorded for causing memory corruptions which allowed hackers to execute arbitrary code remotely. The new version patches the security issues and is available on #-Link-Snipped-# for download. Windows installation would pop up a screen asking the user to enable automatic updates. It is advisable that user selects the option to ensure long-term security. Note that the automatic updating technique is available only to users who have manually upgraded to Flash Player 11.2 or a later version.

Google Chrome users already have the automatic updates enabled and the browser is responsible for carrying out silent updates. Security experts press strongly on the issue, because the vulnerabilities can compromise user data, if regular updates are not checked. Users of previous versions of Flash Player including Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.63 and earlier versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris should strongly consider updating to the latest Flash Player version. Users of Adobe Flash Player 11.1.111.7 for Android can update to Flash Player 11.1.111.8.
