Eastman Kodak or better known as Kodak is all set to baffle all with an interesting lineup at CES 2015. As electronics giants across the globe are gearing up for launching their best of the best products at the Consumer Electronics Show, Kodak along with England-based Bullitt Group, a leading name in mobile device manufacturing, are unveiling a range of Android-powered mobile devices, that according to the company, boast of great UI, design and of course image management features. Those interested in the latest smartphone options for the camera specifications they come with would love to see what Kodak has to offer. A Kodak Android smartphone is something no one would've imagined 5 years back, but with increasing demand in better camera features and the flexibility of Android OS might've led the company to consider venturing into this arena.

The company shares in a press release that they began with an aim to develop a series of Android powered mobile devices that feature pre-loaded high-end image capture & management settings that aren't complicated for general-purpose use. The yet un-named (or yet not revealed) Kodak Android smartphone is also going to feature a pre-installed remote management software.

Apart from the fact that all latest Android features will be incorporated in the smartphone, the company doesn't reveal much about the phone's specifications and that leaves us hanging around for more. All we know for now is that, although CES 2015 will witness the launch of Kodak's Android smartphone, it's not the only Android product from the company. The company promises to launch a 4G enabled handset, an Android tablet and a connected camera launching in the later half of 2015.

Now that's something and one thing is for sure that the expectations are pretty high from both Kodak and Bullitt Group to deliver something mega-impressive in term of camera specs. Photography buffs are already drooling over the 20-megapixel camera sensor from Sony and speculations about the Kodak smartphone's specs are rife. It's been a long time since we had a discussion about the Kodak company on CE. The last time we wrote about them was in 2012, when the firm declared plans to get out of the digital camera, pocket video camera and digital picture frame business.
Here's the discussion: <a href="https://www.crazyengineers.com/threads/kodak-digicams-wont-be-sold-anymore-any-kodak-fans-sad.52209">Kodak DigiCams Won't Be Sold Anymore - Any Kodak Fans Sad?</a>
