We again have a new KYCEan with an enthusiastic engineer who has been with us for a year long. He has some really informative posts on his account (including the VoiCE post: #-Link-Snipped-# )

CE: Hi Vik, you are a Crazy Computer Engineer, tell us more about yourself.
V1K: Hi there, I'm Vikram. I did my schooling at Ranchi. I recently finished my B.Tech. in computer science. Linux & information security inspired me the most in my college days. I'm a RHCE(RedHat Certified Engineer) & did classroom course on RHCSS (RedHat Certified Security Specialist), I may go for its certification later. I will be working on a startup venture related to these fields after completion of my PG degree. Currently, I'm preparing for MBA exams. Depending on my result, I may decide whether to get admitted in some college or opt for a job & try later for MBA.
CE: How did you get introduced to Crazy Engineers (CE)?
V1K: While searching some academics materials, I found this place. I didn't knew this site very well then, so it didn't occurred me to register. But most of time, I used to notice this place on google searches. As I surfed through the forum, I realised that there is a huge flow of information around here, I felt like benefiting & contributing to the cause, So here I'm.
CE: Why did you take up “Computer†as your engineering trade? What do
you like most about it?
V1K: Unlimited possibilities in Computer science & internet fascinated me. It appeared to me that computer science is the only field which I can relate to any any trade. It's being used everywhere. If it controls everything, it's demand is never gonna die, further if someone goes for expertise in some special trade like security or AI. They can definitely be the part of computation evolution which is never going to stop.
CE: What do you like the most about yourself?
V1K: In-spite of being fallen many times, I always keep moving. Sometimes, I was on the top & sometimes, down-under. I have been the best & the worst & experienced a whole lot emotions in my short life. But I overcame & learned from my mistakes. I never lost my conscience to differentiate from positive & negative.
CE: What is your favorite pass time?
V1K: Reading the articles on global issues, science & technology, IT etc from the internet, reading inspirational books like that of Robin Sharma, blogging, watching movies & listening to music.
CE: Who are your idols or inspirations?
V1K: Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Bill Gates, Linus Torvalds, M.S. Dhoni & some of my teachers. The crux is that nobody is perfect, but everyone has something unique to inspire others.
CE: What is the biggest achievement in your life so far?
V1K: 2nd ranker in the state in 12th state board.
CE: The CE Quickies aka Rapid Fire:
1. Name top 5 CEans.
V1K: It's not appropriate to squeeze them in 5.
Ash, Durga, Opti, ES, Goyal, CrazyBoy, Pallavi, AbrakaDabra, Mad Scientist etc.

2. If you are granted 3 wishes, what would you ask for?
V1K:
1. Complete removal of poverty & corruption from the face of the earth. Everyone should possess atleast minimum necessity of life which is the most basic right of each individual.
2. Every truth & secret which don't hampers national integrity should be made public, like government secrets, conspiracy theories (moon conspiracy theory, 9/11 conspiracy theory, truth about aliens, secret
councils etc). These topics drive me crazy. Every hidden truth should be disclosed & everything - system, phenomenon, should be transparent.
Ignorance is not a bliss, it's a curse.
3. Encounter an alien contact & alien technology.
3. If you were not an engineer, you would be?
V1K: Physicist/Astronomer.
Your biggest blooper till date is...
V1K: There was a young egotistic lady teacher(you can very well understand what I mean) in my college. During my first year in the college, she used to teach couple of subjects. Once she was taking oral tests in the class. Inspite of learning everything by heart, I got nervous & forgot everything whatever she asked, that was grossly embarrassing. But later, I gained some confidence and in the last year I delivered a fluent presentation in her class which she liked.
5. Share a moment you can never forget.
V1K: When I was 14 yrs old, while learning driving, I crashed my scooter with the wall at a speed of 80km/hrs.
6. 5 years from now, you will…
V1K: No ones knows the future.
Might be studying PG or working in a company or working on my own startup. But for sure I will in a better position. I have no plans to settle down.
CE: If you were a politician, what will your 5 year plan look like?
V1K: First of all, i will break my 5 year plan into result oriented small fragments of 4 months plans to access the development process in greater details & manipulate the contributing factors. A long duration plan often leads to the act of procrastination. I will mainly focus in ousting endemic corruption in public sectors & poverty reduction. In agriculture, we need modern machinery & proper irrigation mechanism to keep a balance between drought & flood which will make them a very profitable business. As a large group of people are dependent on agriculture, it can play a great role in increasing per ca-pita income. Building proper infrastructure for industrialization will be next. Industrialization will be strictly on the norms of pollution reduction & green energy.
CE: What do you want to say about CE?
V1K: CE is a very dynamic & multifarious forum with information content in various fields. CE is flooding with information every time and has a huge contributing users base. It is the home of creative engineers of tomorrow. Features like small talk are really sources of
inspiration. Keep up the good work & let's us contribute more so that CE can attain new heights.
